Mainstreaming the children in the formal schooling system is an annual feature of Sampurna. We run non- formal educational (NFE) centres where children of 3-6 years are prepared to go for formal education. Approximately 1200 children have been sent to school through non- formal education till date. Our non-formal education system is unique in a way that our volunteers continuously monitor the progress of the child. They are gifted items of their choice if they complete the criteria meant for educating them child through informal settings. It is observed that cricket bat, t-shirt, a pair of slippers, a bundle of handkerchiefs after a month brings not only happiness but a sense of competition among the children.
