    Sampurna is a non-governmental organization, founded in the year 1993 with its head office in Delhi and wholeheartedly working for empowering the entire womanhood. Sampurna got its name from the word Sampurn which literally means ‘complete’. We work on a simple motto and guideline of complete development, Sampurna was set up with the aim to provide holistic support to women and children.

    Sampurna with the mission to empower women who form the very foundation of the society and children who will eventually be going to lead us in the future, we strategically work and emphasize on taking a stand for the violence against them, promoting gender equitable society, enhancing inclusive education, increasing accessible quality healthcare and providing stable livelihood opportunities so that they can grow.

    Sampurna, being one of the leading organizations of the country, firmly believes that women can be catalysts and agents of social change. However, we recognize that ensuring a gender equitable society means tackling a multitude of complex psychological, socio-cultural and economic issues at the same time. For nearly, three decades, Sampurna has been a leader in the India’s women centric approach to community development due to its unique, two fold position –

•    As a leader of research – based projects on wide spread social issues

Sampurna is one of the popular NGOs that has accomplished many projects and events successfully with the support and coordination of their high profiled team and still working on many such more projects. So, let’s discuss some of the successful projects of Sampurna that are indeed the reason to outshine the glow of Sampurna. We broadly divide our projects in two spheres that is Micro and Macro level.

At the Micro level, the organization works with individual or groups to deal with their specific problems and the Macro level projects involve dealing with issues that are important and impact the society as a whole. The pride of Sampurna, the projects of Sampurna are:-
