Sampurna NGO organized Workshop on #5PointsEnvironmentFriendlyAgenda and Kitchen Gardening:

Sampurna, a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable development and environmental conservation, organized a workshop on #5PointsEnvironmentFriendlyAgenda and Kitchen Gardening.  It was successfully conducted in the past. The workshop aimed to educate participants on cultivating vegetables at home and implementing urban kitchen gardening, along with valuable insights into domestic waste management with composting.

The workshop took place on Saturday, 22nd July 2023, from 02:00 PM to 04:00 PM, at the Overseas Apartments in Sector-9, Rohini.

This informative event featured Mr. Pravin Mishra, a renowned expert in gardening, is the primary trainer. Participants enjoyed a comprehensive learning experience covering the  topics. The basics of Gardening steps were told. Participants were introduced to the fundamental principles of gardening, including soil preparation, seed sowing, and plant care techniques.

Dr Shobha Vijender told the participants to understand the significance of composting in waste reduction and sustainable agriculture. The practical sessions on compost preparation were conducted.

Exploring the benefits of bio-enzymes in promoting a healthier environment, Mishra ji told  how to make the products at home. Participants gained insights into plant nutrition and effective ways to maintain healthy plants. Dr. Shobha Vijender, the  founder of Sampurna, expressed her enthusiasm for the event. She emphasized the importance of environmental protection in ensuring self-sufficiency and sustainable living. "By participating in this workshop, individuals have learned to contribute to both their well-being and the health of the planet," she stated.

The workshop was open to all individuals interested in promoting eco-friendly practices and enhancing their gardening skills. The 100 people  , whether having a spacious garden or a small balcony, were equipped with the knowledge and tools to embark on an eco-conscious gardening journey.

Together, Sampurna, with friends  of the environment, sowed the seeds of positive change for a sustainable. Tea and snacks were served in the last.
