Sampurna has organised a Beauty Therapist Course under PM-KVY for 210 hours approximately for 40 days for women aged between 18 to 35 for free of cost. Everybody who completes the course shall be awarded with a completion certificate from the Govt. of India.

Every resident from Rohini in North-West Delhi was contacted to generate awareness among the ones who may need to take up the course and might help them further. The household helpers above 18 were contacted majorly so that they can be self-reliant. It is observed that young girls preferred to become beauty therapist than becoming the housemaids. The ITI trained teacher is running the course with two coordinators. The courses is being run on two shifts. One starts 09.00 AM to 01.00 PM and second batch is 01.00 to 05.00 PM. A large numbers of candidates are coming for admission but many of them do not have the Aadhaar Card from Delhi. A large numbers of migrant populations from other states are coming frequently in Delhi but many of them are unskilled and ignorant. Sampurna is constantly trying to bring that particular population into focus under the PMKVY. During the Beauty Therapist course, the specialized services are given to the beneficiaries. Madam Ashikqi Saha, Aanchal Dahiya, Indu Sharma and Komal are the supervisory staff under whom the girls are learning the course. The beneficiaries are happy to learning the course as it would provide them the certificate to work as a beauty therapist.
