Special session was organised #balandmahilasanskarshivir on water. Dr. Shobha Vijender the Founder President of Sampurna took the session. She elaborated in detail on how water has become scarce in recent years. People generally do not think that water is limited or they may face water shortage. When the speaker interacted with the participants, the participants were not aware that from where they get water in their homes. The participants were not aware on how encroached dried water bodies could contribute to reduction of ground water. The soil is dried due to lack of water. With no moisture in the soil, the fertility of the soil is also reducing. She encouraged the young participants of the Camp to become #Jalmitras. She also introduced them the Five Point Agenda to protect Environment by Sampurna. The session was quite interesting and interactive but leads to the hundred million question to make the masses water literate. It is planned that every day in the Camp, the Volunteers of Sampurna would discuss the salient features of water literacy.
