Free Cancer Detection Camp by Sampurna

New Delhi, 3 Sep 2022 Sampurna organized a free cancer screening camp in Rohini in collaboration with Indian Cancer Society and Udyat Foundation. In this camp, tests were provided for free. Experienced team of doctors and nurses conducted the various tests including early cancer detection screening, blood sugar, blood pressure, mammography, ENT, X-Ray etc. These tests were availed for free by individuals over the age of 21.

Registration for the camp was done prior and slots were allotted in advance. The camp proceeded in a hassle free manner as it was well organized, as per the attendees.

The health camp began at 9 am in the morning and went on until 3 pm in the afternoon. 120 people including senior citizens and women availed the facilities of the camp. Upon detection, the doctors provided further screening as well. Noticeable feature was that the doctors and the people coming to get their checkup done praised Sampurna for efforts in organizing the camp. Founder President of Sampurna Dr Shobha Vijender said that Sampurna has been organizing health camps time and again to keep the citizens of Delhi safe from illnesses. She said that integrated health services are the focal point of Sampurna. She added that deadly diseases like cancer need early detection, especially for our senior citizens. In the end the team of the doctor and those who attended the camp also appreciated each other.
