Founded in 1993, #Sampurna is a non-profit organization with its Head Office in Delhi. Sampurna literally means ‘complete’. Following the very principle of complete development, #Sampurna was set up to provide holistic support to women, children and to protect the Nature. With the mission to empower women who are the foundation of our society and children who will exentually lead us into future, we strategically work and emphasize on ending violence against them, promoting gender equitable society, enchancing inclusive education, increasing accessible quality healthcare, providing stable livelihood opportunities and making people literate about the environment. Following a right-bases sustainable approach. which not only meets a women’s immediate need for support but goes beyond, we encourage her to become self-confident, self-sufficient and self-reliant.
Over three decades, #Sampurna has been a leader in focusing women-centric approach according to Indian culture through its unique, two-fold position: (a) as an experienced facilitator of grassroot programmes and (b) as a leader of research-based projects on wide spread social and environmental issues.
